I grew up in Thompson, Manitoba and had 11 years of schooling where I became a huge lover of hockey. I graduated from high school at John Taylor Collegiate in 1973 and then took the 10 month Automotive Repair course at Red River Community College. During the next five years, worked as an auto technician and obtained my Interprovincial licence.

My 2012 F150 was starting to shift slightly out of sync. I use my truck for work M-F, the Saturday appointment was extremely convenient. I expected a tranny oil flush. Julian took my truck in at 8am on Saturday, had it inspected and road tested by 9. I got the phone call with their results. The problem was a small misalignment with my driveshaft.

This location had 4 bays, but for the first 2 1/2 years, I shared the building with Thrifty Car Rental. I operated 3 bays and Thrifty had 1 bay. I stayed at that location for a total of 8 years. When my lease was up, I realized that Lanpro had outgrown that building. After months of searching, I located our present location, 1870 Ellice Avenue, in Winnipeg.
