D.G. Smith Insurance Brokers was established by David Gordon (D.G.) Smith in 1981. Dave operated the business from the basement of his family residence inLeaskdale, Ontario for 25 years. In 2005, as the company and team continued to grow, D.G. Smith Insurance relocated from the comfortable confines of the home office to a retail space in Uxbridge.

With the desire to learn, Quincy enhanced her insurance knowledge in 2015 when she received her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation. Quincy was one of the top five CAIB graduates in 2015. Quincy received the Chris Ward Memorial Award for obtaining the highest mark on the first attempt of the Level II examination.

In the event that you need to make a claim, we will ensure that it is settled in a fair and efficient manner. We strongly urge you to contact our office prior to the insurance company. Note that insurance policies generally require you to take measures to protect your property from further loss. If it is after business hours or a holiday, you can contact us by email (claims@dgsmithinsurance.com).

Due to privacy laws, we are unable to accept credit card information via fax, email, or text. If you do not see your insurance company in the list above, please call our office and we will be happy to process the payment for you. It's simple, if you received your invoice directly from the insurance company, you are on a direct bill pay plan.
