
Ear mites are a small, almost microscopic parasite belonging to the Arachnida family, like ticks and mange mites. With the recent move to Stage 3 in British Columbia, we are pleased to be able to make some modifications to our operating policies. We will move to a "restricted waiting room" policy to protect our clients and staff.
When you arrive, please remain outside the hospital and use your cell phone to call us. There will be a limit on the number of clients we can accommodate in the clinic at any one time. For appointments such as ill pets and annual wellness or vaccine appointments, we will be able to have one owner accompany the pet into the exam room.

At Alouette Animal Hospital, we are happy to offer a full cat boarding in our dedicated area. Chateau Alouette offers safe, secure, quiet and caring accommodations for your cat. It has seven different theme rooms, each with its own window and ledge and all are individually climate controlled. We are also happy to accommodate a cat with special needs, such as daily medications.

Why can't my pet see the same veterinarian each time we visit? We make every effort to accommodate our clients' requests. However, there may be circumstances that prevent a certain veterinary team member from being available during your pet's visit. Scheduling conflicts, emergency situations and vacation schedules all play a role in their availability.
