Kamaljit Lehal and Mehmoona Ali have worked together for over 25 years, which speaks volumes as to their comradery to each other and loyalty to the community they serve. In 2020 our little firm added a young and passionate junior lawyer, Prabhpreet Kaur Sangha and we are delighted to have her join the team.

Kamaljit K. Lehal founded Lehal Law in 1992. The firm has provided legal services to the local community and to clients from the U.S. and abroad for more than 30 years. The firm started out providing general legal services but has over the years refined its services to allow for a more tailored legal practice.

Kamaljit Kaur Lehal earned her Law Degree from the University of British Columbia in 1989 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1990. She articled at the Workers Compensation Board (now known as WorkSafe BC formerly "WCB"). She worked as an associate with a local law firm successfully practicing ICBC defence work.
Mehmoona Ali

Mehmoona Ali has worked as a legal secretary / assistant for more than 30 years. She has worked in small law firms as well as large downtown firms and corporations, and has experience in the following areas of law, Family Law, Wills & Estates, Immigration, Personal Injury, Company Records, Civil, and WCB.
Our Community Involvement

Our community involvement is led by Kamaljit Lehal. She is actively involved in the Community Coordination for Women's Safety and has acted as supervising lawyer for EVA BC (The Ending Violence Association of British Columbia) on a Law Foundation program addressing domestic violence and immigrant women.
