No. Physiotherapists are regulated health professionals and therefore you do not need a doctor's referral. We do encourage open communication with your doctor(s) and you can let us know at your first visit if you would like them to be included in your correspondence. Some extended health care plans require a physician's note to have physiotherapy expenses reimbursed.
