What boarding requirements must pets meet?
Boarding cats must have FRCP and rabies vaccinations; dogs require DA2PP, bordetella, and rabies. Proof of vaccination is mandatory for all boarders.
Are house call services available?
House calls are temporarily suspended due to pandemic protocols. Previously offered for routine exams and minor procedures within Regina city limits.
What surgical safety measures do you implement?

Was looking to get my dog spayed, and this vet was accommodating to begin with and scheduled me appropriately. I then called 2 weeks prior to ensure I had the correct drop off time, and notified the staff that I am a health care worker, I would be working night shift the night before the appointment, so I was going to be sleeping and unable to answer the phone for confirmation, so just to consider the current phone call the confirmation, and they agreed. However, the day before my appointment, they called to confirm via voicemail, and then two hours later called and cancelled my appointment via

We switched our pets to Wascana Animal Hospital when we moved to the east end of the city, and Ive never had a complaint. The vets and staff and all very welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable, and you can tell they genuinely love and care for the animals they see every day. The office has relaxing music and hormone diffusers to help calm down anxious animals, and they can even get our neurotic chihuahua to chill out (which is no small feat). The vets are all very personable and friendly, and when our cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes, they were very quick to get him back into the

Absolutley in love with the staff here (specifically Oreon and Dr. Ulmer). I took my kitten in to be spayed and they were very kind and patient with me (and her) the whole time. They answered all of my questions very thoroughly, always took the time to explain to me everything that happened and what needed to be done. My kitten had a burn on her paw so she was very cranky but the vet staff never made any negative comments on her cattitude!! I know shes a lot to deal with when shes mad so this was very much appreciated. When they called me to say she needed lol antibiotics, they went over

If you are looking for an amazing vet, filled with caring individuals, look no further. Wascana Animal Hospital was extremely clean and welcoming. My Pup loved the attention he got from all of the workers and cant wait to go back to see his new friends. I worked with Jane, she was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Jane made sure I left the vet with every question I could think of answered. I have been to a few clinics in the city, but none have exceeded my expectations like Wascana Animal Hospital. Thank you!

Attended Wascana Aminal Hospital to get our day updated vaccines and to check a chipped tooth and new rash. The Staff was helpful and got us in quick. The Vet was informative and gave us treatment options for both the rash (which was diagnosed as allergies) and the chipped tooth. One option for the chipped tooth was even to go to a specially oral vet outside their practice. Nice to feel heard and not pushed into more treatment.
