I was born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario and achieved my Bachelor of Science Biology degree from Lakehead University in 2004.
I attended law school at the University of Manitoba earning the Pitblado Scholarship in 2007 for the Dean's Honour List, and graduated in 2009. In 2010 I became fully licensed to practice law in Ontario by the Law Society of Upper Canada. I practiced as an associate lawyer with Larson Lawyers (previously known as Rene Larson Law Office) from 2010 until opening my own firm in 2017.
