Expert Trauma Counselling for Men in Victoria
The Mens* Therapy Centre has been dedicated to supporting men who have experienced trauma, including childhood sexual abuse, for over two decades. Our team of professional counsellors holds advanced degrees in counselling or social work and maintains registration with recognized professional bodies in British Columbia. We employ diverse therapeutic approaches such as Somatic Experiencing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Client-Centred methods to provide confidential, supportive care in a safe environment. With a commitment to accessibility, we offer a sliding fee scale to ensure therapy remains affordable for all clients.

Our specialized programs address complex trauma, PTSD, and related mental health challenges while maintaining a trauma-informed practice that serves cis, gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, 2spirit, queer, and gender-fluid individuals. Through community outreach and professional development training, we work to break down barriers preventing men from seeking help while fostering a more compassionate understanding of trauma's impact.

Aug 01, 2020 Report
The Men's Therapy Centre helped me many years ago back in 2004. I recently attended their Open House at the new location on Fisgard. This is a tremendous organization that offers highly qualified and dignified clinical counselling as well as offering support group therapy to men who have experienced trauma.
