We offer all-inclusive, flat rate closing packages for home purchases and sales. Our fees for our Durham estate planning lawyers, include all disbursements, such as title insurance, title searching, execution searches, courier costs, etc. The only other additional charges for a purchase transaction will be the Land Transfer Tax (based on purchase price - additional search costs may apply to rural or unusual properties).

We provide Will and Power of Attorney drafting services as well as assisting Estate Trustees or Executors in obtaining a Certificate of Appointment (probate) from the Court and we can also assist you in administering your Oshawa, Whitby or Bowmanville area Estate.

After my clients sign their Will and Powers of Attorney, they leave my office with originals of the documents. I advise my clients to place their Wills and Powers of Attorney in an unlocked fireproof box in a safe place in their home. Lawyers sometimes witness a Will and Powers of Attorney with clients and do not obtain a proper Affidavit of Witness which is required along with the documents.
