Literally has now become the most INCONSIDERATE, stubborn, close-minded, ignorant, inconsistent on policy, & ARROGANT customer service receptionists I have dealt with across any business ever. Dealing with them the last 8 months has been a nightmare every single time, over the most minor issues regarding getting my contact lenses that they consistently have made so major & LIED about information to me. That reply is a lie lol, I have been a patient for like a decade.

I have never written a review but I feel like I had to warn against this office. Just to note: I am using a fake name to protect my identity. I had been with White Rock Optometry for the last 10 years and have only recently switched optometrists (Island Eyecare) because I had moved to Vancouver Island. When I switched optometrists, I realized how poor the service was here. I have had poor eyesight since I was born so I had surgery when I was a child, have been wearing glasses my whole life, have had contacts for two years now, and have been routinely going to the optometrist at least annually

I've been going to WR Optometry Clinic for at least 15 years. My appointment wait times have always been kept within a few minutes. To me, that says they're very organised. They have a lot of sophisticated, specialised equipment and are able to look and provide services that are more than just a prescription for eye glass lens. That's important to me because of my long history of symptomatic ocular hypertension. I recently got back from an emergency appointment. I was able to see the doctor within a couple of hours.
