We treat/monitor glaucoma macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, cataracts, corneal dystrophies/degenerations and refer to a wide range of ophthalmologists in Alberta if necessary.

We have access to the most comfortable and healthy contact lenses available in the worldwide market. We have toric, multifocal/progressive, soft, rigid, disposable (daily, bi-weekly, monthly) colored contacts and contact lenses that are FDA-approved to sleep in for 30 days and 30 nights. CIBA/Alcon (Air optix, Air Optix Colors, Air Optix for Astigmatism, Total One Dailies, Aquacomfort Plus Dailies.).

At Eyecon, we provide a pre-operative assessment of your prescription, health and corneal thickness and can provide a preliminary idea of whether you are a good candidate for Lasik. Several other parameters such as age, eye dominance, farsightedness, nearsightedness, level of prescription and pre-existing ocular history all play a role in determining the best procedure.
