Services
Gutter Cleaning
Our professional gutter cleaning removes debris, moss, and blockages while inspecting for repairs. Using fall arrest systems and specialized tools, we clear gutters up to 50 feet high. Regular maintenance prevents water damage to foundations and roofs. Our insured technicians flush downspouts and wash gutter surfaces for complete protection against Vancouver Island's wet climate.
Roof Demossing
Specialized soft-wash roof cleaning removes moss, algae, and lichen without pressure damage. Our four-part biodegradable solution extends roof life by preventing shingle lift and granule loss. Technicians manually clean surfaces and apply protective treatments. Regular demossing maintains property value and prevents costly premature roof replacement in coastal climates.
Window Washing
Interior and exterior window cleaning services for residential and commercial properties. Our water-fed pole system reaches heights up to five stories while eco-friendly solutions ensure streak-free results. We clean skylights, solariums, and specialty glass surfaces. Regular maintenance preserves visibility and enhances curb appeal for homes and businesses.
Pressure Washing
Custom pressure washing services for driveways, patios, decks, and walkways. Our technicians adjust pressure levels for different materials to prevent damage. Biodegradable cleaners remove organic growth and stains. Commercial clients benefit from scheduled maintenance plans that maintain property appearance and safety standards.
Gutter Guards
Professional installation of gutter protection systems reduces maintenance needs by 90%. We recommend appropriate guard types based on property surroundings and climate conditions. Proper installation prevents debris accumulation while maintaining water flow. Combined with regular cleaning, guards provide comprehensive protection against clogs and overflow damage.

We provide gutter cleaning, roof demossing, window washing, pressure washing, siding cleaning, and gutter guard installation for residential and commercial properties.
How often should I clean my gutters in Nanaimo?
Twice yearly cleanings (spring and fall) are recommended due to Nanaimo's climate. Properties with many surrounding trees may require more frequent maintenance.

Our technicians assess each surface to determine appropriate cleaning methods. Soft washing is used for delicate materials to prevent damage while ensuring effective cleaning.

Yes, we use biodegradable, non-toxic cleaning solutions that are safe for people, pets, and plants while effectively removing organic growth.
How do you ensure safety during roof cleaning?
Our team uses fall arrest systems and follows WorksafeBC protocols. We avoid high-pressure methods that could damage shingles while ensuring complete moss removal.

I thought of climbing a 30 foot ladder to clean my gutters then I remembered how dramatic I am when I fall off the couch. Mr Sparkle is reliable and professional. They do great work at a reasonable rate. I attached a photo to show how clean my house is. Its been redacted for privacy, however. If you could see my house, youd know its clean.

The window cleaner came a bit early and started quickly. The cleaning process was the same as in previous visits. He appeared to do a thorough job and I was happy. The chap who did the cleaning was professional and very pleasant. I noticed some streaking on a window the following day, and Mr Sparkle came by the next day and rectified the issue quickly. Definitely a company that cares about the satisfaction of its customers.

Mr Sparkle did an excellent job of cleaning the exterior of our house. Our vinyl siding looks brand new thanks to the work of his crew. He came to our house the same day we called him to give us an estimate for the work and his crew came the day after we accepted his price and they did a thorough job cleaning the siding, soffits and windows. We would have no hesitation in calling him again when we need his services. Thanks, Mr. Sparkle
