Dr. Parm Rai graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor's in Biology (BSc.) and followed that by attending Southern California University of Health Sciences attaining his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), with honours. Dr. Rai began focusing himself in the healing arts by participating in Chiropractic mission trips to El Salvador during his time in Los Angeles.
