What emergency services do you offer?
We provide emergency care during regular office hours (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm). For after-hours emergencies, contact Kingston Regional Pet Hospital at 613-634-5370.
Do you treat exotic pets?
Yes, Dr. Gerritsen sees exotic patients including birds and reptiles Monday-Thursday. Please schedule appointments in advance for exotic pet consultations.
What surgical options are available?
We offer routine, soft tissue, and orthopedic surgeries including advanced tightrope cruciate repair techniques. All procedures use modern anesthetic monitoring equipment.

We have been taking our pets to Dr Stevenson for years and we have yet to receive anything less than exceptional service and care. More importantly, it is evident how much Dr Stevenson and his team truly care about animals. The warmth, empathy, and compassion with which Dr Stevenson approaches difficult situations with is very special indeed, and we are so grateful he has been there for us through the loss of all 3 of our fur babies. Thank you to the entire TIVS team for all you do!

I cannot say enough good things about the staff here. They are amazing and truly care about the animals. They were amazing at getting me in right away when my dog fell ill. My dog has bad separation anxiety and they were amazing with him and allowed me to be present during the exam. They assessed my dog and got him on the meds to make him better. They talked to me about what they heard and saw and what their plan of action was. I left with no questions or concerns at all! They then called before the weekend to check up on Sterling and ensure he was feeling better. Amazing job 1000 islands team

The whole team is very knowledgeable, compassionate, and passionate about animal well-being. When I have had pet health emergencies, the staff have given me lots of emotional support.
