Through the speed of strokes, SDTT allows the nervous system to change its holding patterns that have been learned due to stress, posture and injury.
Systemic Deep Tissue Therapy
Report
SDTT focuses on changing holding patterns in the nervous system that have been learned due to stress, posture and injury. Systemic Deep Tissue Therapy is a technique designed for increasing circulation to troubled areas that begin at the lower spine and translate upward. SDTT focuses on the tender-points in the body that includes the muscle, ligament, fascia, and the underlying joint.
Neuromuscular Therapy
Report
A slow, directed technique focused on identifying and resolving your body's "trigger points". When we release the structures - which are usually muscles - we do so along their natural range of motion and length. Trigger points are irritable nodules often found in taut bands of muscle fibers. They can be painful when compressed (latent) or when the affected muscle is in motion or at rest (active).
Muscle Energy Technique
Report
A gentle technique used to isolate the small structural and supportive muscles of your spine and limbs. Muscle Energy Technique (or MET) is a massage therapy technique based on the principle of reciprocal inhibition. This theory explains that muscles on one side of a joint will always relax to accommodate the contraction of muscles on the other side of that joint.
