James J. Feehely (Jay) is a founding partner of Feehely Gastaldi with extensive experience in municipal law and general civil litigation. Jay specializes in all aspects of municipal legal issues, including dealing with various issues arising from municipal planning agreements, development charges and development projects.
Jay also has expertise in estate litigation, estate planning, wills and powers of attorney. Jay has conducted a number of significant civil trials and hearings before the Ontario Municipal Board and other tribunals. Jay obtained his B.A. (Hons) from the University of Waterloo in 1969 and his L.L.B. from the University of Toronto in 1973.
