The resort is located on the shores of Beautiful Peninsula (Pen) Lake. Colonial Bay is a small three season cottage resort catering mostly to young families and those who like the slower pace of a Muskoka vacation. With less than 40 people on the property at any one time you can experience your very own corner of Muskoka during your stay.

Deluxe Rooms include fireplace, one queen size bed, Satellite TV, hair dryer, coffeemaker, fridge, four piece bathroom, electric heat, microwave, kettle, toaster and supply of dishes and cutlery.

During July and August, cottages 1, 2, 3 & 4 book Saturday - Saturday; cottages 5, 6 & 8 book Sunday - Sunday. Thank you for booking your holiday at Colonial Bay. What sets us apart from large hotels and big chains is the personal service you receive from us. We are able to do this because of the size of our resort - just 15 rooms and cottages.

With 300' of sand bottom lakefront on clean clear Peninsula Lake, playing at the lake is a summer favorite. Swimming, building Sand Castles, canoeing or relaxing in a Muskoka Chair will ease most into the "summer holiday mode".
