ParkJanik Consulting Engineers Inc, originally R.C. Park Engineering Limited, was founded in Calgary in 1999 by Rodney Colin Park, P.Eng. Rodney graduated from the University of Calgary with a BSc in Civil Engineering in 1993, started in Structural Engineering Consulting soon after and is well known in the industry for listening carefully to clients' needs to determine the best construction techniques applicable for the project and design accordingly.
With nearly 25 years of experience in residential, commercial, industrial and civil structure design across Canada, the U.S. and the Caribbean, Rodney has a wide range of innovative design experience and is always adding new construction processes and technologies to his vast expertise.In 2016, Bart Janik, MSc, P.Eng, joined the firm's corporate practice as a partner and the company was re-branded as ParkJanik Consulting Engineers Inc.

Design included designated industrial and office areas, heavy-duty overhead crane and 12in. ParkJanik Consulting Engineers provided the structural design for the project together with engineering supervision during the construction stage.

ParkJanik Consulting Engineers Inc. was appointed as a prime structural engineer to design the structure for Baitun Nur Mosque in Calgary. Construction started in 2005 and was completed in 2008, for the total cost of CAD$15 million.
