Michael was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. A prairie boy at heart, Michael moved to Brandon, Manitoba to practice dentistry after graduating from the University of British Columbia, College of Dentistry. After re-locating to be closer to family, Dr. Haimanot now practices dentistry in Regina.
