Lumina Resort has 36 chalet cottages and a Main Lodge all nestled in and around the trees and manicured lawns of our 240 acre estate on Lake of Bays. We have cottages that can accommodate 2 families and others that are ideal for couples or small families - and everything in between. Our cottages and chalets have one to four bedrooms.

Our Executive Chef and Pastry Chef take great pride in providing wonderful, mouth watering creations, always fresh and well balanced. Most meals are table service, with buffets and B.B.Q's adding variety throughout the week. Everyday there is a children's main course and dessert option, in case they don't like the adult choices.

Lumina Resort is both restful and exciting, a very active resort where all ages find happiness, and truly memorable vacations in beautiful Muskoka, the land of bright blue waters! Our child directors at the Petticoat Junction will supervise the young ones with games and arts and crafts. Our social director will fill the adults and teens' days and evenings with tournaments, entertainment and special events.

Our Children's Program is included as part of your stay at Lumina Resort for no extra cost. Lumina has a long-standing tradition of providing a totally relaxing holiday for the whole family, and we know if the kids are happy we are half way there. Our fully supervised children's program is run twice daily.
Water Sports

Lake of Bays is one of Ontario's finest lakes. As it's name implies it is made up of many sheltered bays, sparkling clean water interesting sites and gorgeous shorelines to view. Other interests include, a trip up the Oxtongue river, boating by historic Bigwin Inn, viewing an old steam ship or cruising the islands.
