Mundare Chiropractic
Unlike mainstream medicine, which focuses on treating symptoms and existing disorders, chiropractic medicine is preventative and can address issues and imbalances before they result in illness and disease. While chiropractic treatment certainly helps people after the onset of injury, such as following car accidents or sports and work-related injuries, regular 'tune-ups' keep the whole system aligned and contribute to optimal health.

My patients range in age from newborns to 94 years old. I use a variety of chiropractic techniques and also provide nutritional and lifestyle guidance. Central Chiropractic Clinic is located in the Oliver community in downtown Edmonton. We are always accepting new patients and there is free clinic parking available just outside the office door.
Services
What is Chiropractic
Report
The main form of treatment chiropractors deliver is called an adjustment - a non-invasive procedure consisting of a precise directed movement to help relieve pain and discomfort, and restore range of motion. Sometimes chiropractors will also use other therapies like massage, heat, laser and ultrasound.
What to Expect
Report
You will be asked to share information about your health, such as any injury or surgery, medications you are taking and family health history. The first visit will take longer than following visits, because a physical assessment will be conducted based on the reason for your visit. The assessment might include posture, range of motion, reflexes, and other orthopaedic and neurologic tests.
Motor Vehicle Injuries
Report
Your auto insurance covers you for a minimum of 10 chiropractic treatments for minor injuries under the Alberta Diagnostic Treatment Protocols Regulation. In addition, every Albertan is entitled to $750 of chiropractic care coverage for more serious injuries (under Section B), but access to these benefits varies based on your auto policy.
Workers’ Compensation
Report
If you are hurt at work, you can seek chiropractic treatment immediately. The WCB does not require you to see a medical doctor first. For almost 10 years, chiropractic treatment has had the highest satisfaction rates among injured workers. We will submit assessment information to the WCB for review and to determine the outcome of your claim.
What is Regulation
Report
Being regulated means that chiropractors in Alberta must obey all legislative requirements set by the government for all health care providers. Other health care providers that are regulated include nurses, dentists, medical doctors and optometrists. The Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors (ACAC) is entrusted with enforcing the requirements set by government for all chiropractors.
