Earl Lawson's early desire to improve people's quality of life led him to pursue and achieve degrees in Physical Education and Business. A move to Calgary in 1980 led to an unexpected career shift. After managing a retail outlet for Kitchen Craft Canada, Lawson opened up operations in Vancouver and took over ownership of the company.
Subsequently he partnered in the opening of Showcase Kitchen Interiors, which eventually evolved into its current manifestation as V6B Design Group. V6B Design Group's focus is residential pre-planning to maximize functionality and aesthetic integrity in the home. Initially specializing in kitchen design, the company's interest has since expanded to encompass other areas of the home.
