Custom Deck Design
We specialize in creating tailored deck designs that maximize outdoor living potential. Our process begins with detailed consultations to understand client preferences, followed by 3D renderings for visualization. Using premium materials like Trex composite decking, we build structures that withstand Canadian climates while maintaining aesthetic appeal. Our expertise includes upper-level decks, multi-tiered designs, and integration with landscape features.
Shade Structures
Our shade solutions include pergolas, pavilions, and cabanas designed for both functionality and style. We offer customizable options from traditional wood to modern aluminum systems with smart integration features. Each structure incorporates lighting, heating, or screening options to extend usability across seasons. Our installations prioritize proper drainage and structural integrity for long-term performance in Ontario weather conditions.
Deck Waterproofing
We install Trex RainEscape under-deck waterproofing systems to protect lower living spaces. This solution channels water away through troughs and downspouts, creating dry areas beneath decks. The system allows for finished ceilings and utility installations while maintaining 25-year warranties. Our expertise ensures proper sealing and integration with existing deck structures for complete moisture protection.
Landscape Design
Our landscape services create cohesive outdoor environments complementing deck installations. We design complete backyard ecosystems including patios, walkways, and garden features using natural stone and concrete pavers. The process includes 2D/3D planning, material selection coordination, and permit acquisition assistance. We integrate lighting, irrigation, and hardscaping elements for fully functional outdoor living spaces.
Frameless Glass Railing
We install frameless glass railings that maintain unobstructed views while ensuring safety. Using 12mm tempered glass with engineered spigots, our systems combine modern aesthetics with durability. Options include stainless steel, aluminum, and composite materials tailored to deck styles. Our installations meet building code requirements while enhancing the visual flow of elevated deck spaces.

Love love my new Trex deck installed by PVD!! I waited a year to post this review. I still can't say enough about the beautiful design and construction Simon and his crew provided. It was a pleasure working with Simon from start to finish. He quickly responded to emails and completed the job on time as promised. I would not hesitate to recommend PVD.

I cannot say enough about how much I love my Perfect View Deck. I had been approached a few deck companies but Simon's incredible design, responsiveness and demeanor were what attracted me to work with him and his crew. I recommend PVD to all my friends (in fact the house two doors down has a Perfect View Deck as well!).

Simon and Barry did a great job of installing 8 Goliath helical piles for my deck footings. Simon is an experienced deck builder and had lots of great advice. The posts are installed and level - just needs a deck on it! As a first time DIY deck builder this was super helpful.
