The Northwood Choice - Given the severity and therefore likelihood of many "detours" and "uphill efforts" to nurture my "road to recovery", I required a facility that employed staff with multiple capabilities - the exceptional instruction of training/fitness, deep knowledge of physiology and motivational skills.

After considerable due diligence of fitness facilities in North Toronto (where I reside) and the Collingwood/Simcoe region, I determined that the Northwood Club would best meet my needs. Once you're a member, our certified trainers will assess your abilities, help define your goals and develop a personalized training program.

Barre is a full body cardio workout that strengthens and lengthens muscles, while focusing on coordination, balance, and stability. Balls and bands are incorporated to enhance movements. An energizing and vigorous class combining the cardio conditioning of hi and lo stepping and the muscle strengthening components of movement.
