We can discuss the pros and cons of different ways of obtaining property and taking title, either alone, through a company, partnership or with others.

We assist clients in all family, relationship and domestic dispute scenarios. Our expertise ranges from high-conflict or emergent situations to the amicable dissolution of relationships. We manage high net worth income and property equalization, as well as families who are in difficult financial circumstances.

At AVS Law LLP we place a premium on helping our clients be prepared. Much of law is reactionary but as important to our clients is a plan going forward to ensure the future safety, security and the comfort of our clients and their families. Ensuring that clients have an appropriate Power of Attorney in place to ensure that decisions can always be made in any situation by people who can be counted upon, is a service we are happy to provide.

All of our lawyers have extensive experience in the courtroom. This includes regular filing and appearances in the Provincial court of Manitoba, The Court of Queen's Bench of Manitoba (both Family and Civil divisions) as well as appearances at the Court of Appeal of Manitoba.

We have experience in filing and appearances in front of various administrative tribunals, Municipal boards and councils and Arbitration with or without the support of mediation.We meet with clients and provide practical advice on how to proceed with matters of a civil nature or contract.

We assist our clients in the consideration and creation of any type of entity to assist them in running their business or community endeavors. A client may require the benefit of only a sole proprietorship with perhaps the simple registration of a business name to ensure that the good will they are creating in the business world is theirs alone, or they may require something more complex.
