Home of St. Francis Xavier University and surrounded by beautiful hiking trails and beaches. Our entres feature local meat and seafood, and our salads and sides feature locally sourced produce, as well as produce and greens grown right here on our own farm.

Chef Mark is a Certified Sommelier since 2002 and hosts private wine and food pairing dinners for you in the Hawthorne Room or in your home. To see our extensive selection of wines download our wine menu. Nova Scotia 's recent wine history dates back to the mid-1970's, and its future looks bright with the province boasting over ten wineries and hundreds of acres of vineyards.

Gabrieau's Hand Made Truffles contains three delectable flavours your taste buds will thank you for. Milk chocolate Brandy Praline, Dark chocolate Grand Marnier and white chocolate and lime. Spicy Thai, Raspberry poppyseed, Creamy Tarragon, Maple Rum Sauce, Maple Balsamic Vinaigrette, Honey Sherry Dijon Vinaigrette, Greek and Asian Vinaigrette, Gabrieau's Famous Caesar Dressing, Asian BBQ Sauce.
Hawthorne Room

The Hawthorne Room is the ideal rental space for meetings, small weddings, rehearsal dinners or small celebration parties. It has it's own spectacular open kitchen that is used for cooking classes, wine appreciation classes and preparation of gourmet meals right in front of our guests. The Hawthorne Room seats 36 people comfortably for a sit down meal, approximately 32 people for a buffet and 50 plus people for a stand up reception.
