Dr. Boxin Wanglin began learning about Chinese medicine at the age of 9 and received her MD in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Heilongjiang University in 1987. She then joined the Harbin Orthopaedics and Traumatology Hospital and the Peking University Hospital as a doctor. Dr. Boxin Wanglin started conducting research in 1989 in the Department of Biology at Peking University on herbal plants.
