What naturopathic services are available through telehealth?
We offer comprehensive telehealth consultations for all naturopathic services including initial assessments, follow-ups, and treatment planning. Patients can access our expertise from anywhere through secure video calls or phone consultations.
Do you accept insurance for naturopathic treatments?
Most extended healthcare plans cover naturopathic services. We offer direct billing through Telus Health and Sunlife for participating insurers. Patients should verify coverage details with their specific insurance provider.
What lab tests do you offer?
We provide comprehensive testing including food sensitivity panels, hormone assessments (DUTCH test), gut microbiome analysis, and metabolic panels through accredited laboratories like LifeLabs and GI360.
Are initial consultations covered by OHIP?
Naturopathic services aren't covered by OHIP, but most extended health insurance plans provide partial or full coverage. We provide receipts for insurance submission and offer direct billing options for participating plans.
What are your cancellation policies?
We require 48 hours notice for appointments 60 minutes or longer, and 24 hours for shorter visits. Missed appointments without proper notice will be charged the full service fee.
Do you offer pediatric care?
Yes, our naturopathic doctors provide pediatric care for children with conditions like eczema, digestive issues, allergies, and developmental concerns using gentle, natural treatment approaches tailored to young patients.

I called this morning at 10:10AM 12/15/2021 to inquire about holistic dermatology and the receptionist was shockingly rude. Her attitude and tone of voice completely turned me off from wanting to book with this clinic. My partner who was beside me when I called is shocked as well. People shouldn't have to deal with that when calling about their skin concerns.

Dr. Mokoto is very knowledgeable, compassionate and professional in caring for his patients. Baby Trinity always goes to Dr. Makoto for her routine well visits, to ensure she is hitting all of her milestones and is up-to-date with her growth and development. Zentai Wellness also offers food allergy testing for babies. This is an extra service paid at your own expense. We are thrilled to have found naturopathic pediatric care at Zentai Wellness and are fortunate to have the benefits to attend these services.
