Before 358 Dupont was established as Eight Branches Academy of Eastern Medicine and Healing Arts Centre, it was Kokoro Dojo - a peaceful sanctuary tucked behind the residences and busy storefronts in the heart of the Annex. Kokoro Dojo was a Zen Shiatsu school focused on the teachings of Shizuto Masunaga.

Apothecary

Eight Branches houses an extensive apothecary containing raw Chinese herbs, granules and patents. Our students can find a comfortable chair for quiet moments in the herb apothecary. We have also installed a student kitchen next to our apothecary - to encourage the preparation and tasting of food for our nutrition classes and herbs in our herbology classes.
