Apollo Restaurant

The Apollo restaurant was established in 1970 by George and Toula Sakellaris. George and Toula immigrated from small villages in Southern Greece in the 1960's. As a newly married couple in their early 20's, they opened the Apollo Restaurant on the Kingsway. The Apollo introduced the city of Sudbury to Greek cuisine, something that was not well known in the 1970s, and has since become famous for their homemade Greek specialities.

The Apollo is still owned and operated by Toula and her family and specializes in traditional authentic Greek foods and desserts, Angus Beef, and much more!
