Our cottages are fully furnished with all your daily needs. We are open all year round, so if you're looking for a quiet place to stay during the summer or a cozy cottage during the winter, we can provide you with what you want. Each cottage has two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds (also there will be cots available if needed).
The cottages each have fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms. Each kitchen is complete with a fridge, stove, dining set etc. The bathrooms are also complete with towels and additional toiletries etc. There is a large living room area in each cottage with complimentary color cable TV. Also, each cottage has its own Bar-B Q.

Gander, NL is located only 22 kilometer's from Glenwood. While staying at Misty River Cottages you can visit Gander daily to do shopping, site seeing, or to enjoy a nice meal at one of the many restaurants. Gander has two malls, the "Fraser Mall", located on Airport Blvd. Lewisporte is a smaller community than Gander.

First, why not take pleasure in the beautiful scenery that nature provides for you. We are located next to the old rail bed that runs through Glenwood, so nature is literally at your back door. The old rail bed is a good place to take a nature walk during all seasons. Also, this trail is used by the public for, snowmobile and ATV rides.
