Additionally, these photographs allow us to easily share our concerns with other health care professionals, and they act as an accurate permanent record of any changes in your eyes.

Getting an optomap image is fast, painless, and comfortable. Nothing touches your eye at any time. It is suitable for the whole family. To have the exam, you simply look into the device one eye at a time (like looking through a keyhole) and you will see a flash of light to let you know the image of your retina has been taken.
Orthokeratology
Report
Ortho-K can be used in children as young as 6 years old. In these cases, we teach the parent the insertion & removal technique, as well the cleaning schedule. As they get older, they can become more involved in this process. Children who play sports, are not functioning well in glasses or contacts, and/or are not candidates for LASIK correction are often good candidates for ortho-K treatment.
