Sierra Sustainable Builders was founded by Cory Hannaford and Danny Webb, two lifelong friends who used their broad experience in the building trades as a means to travel and work in the most beautiful places in the world. After landing in Lake Tahoe in the late 1990s, Cory and Danny grew increasingly frustrated with the typical wasteful, inefficient approach to building and formed Sierra Sustainable Builders in 2002.
Sierra Sustainable Builders has since grown to a team of nearly 50 talented designers, builders, project managers, and support staff who work on a wide variety of challenging, interesting projects in the Tahoe basin and surrounding communities. The fragile alpine environment in which we live and work is a daily reminder that we all have a responsibility to tread lightly on this planet.
