Dr. Reg Perkin established a family medicine practice in Mississauga, Ontario in 1956 and it grew to become Dixie Road Medical Associates, now a group practice of nine family physicians. As a Family Health Organization serving Mississauga and neighboring communities, the family doctors of this practice pride themselves in looking after the health and wellbeing of their patients and their families for generations.

Dixie Road Medical Associates offers in-hours and after-hours services for routine and urgent issues to our registered patients. MDM Pharmacy is an independently owned community pharmacy proudly serving the Mississauga and surrounding community since 1989. Dr. Baeshu graduated medical school in 2007, he has since practiced in Libya, UK and now in Canada. Interests are Preventative care, Men's health, Chronic disease management and dermatology. Dr. Finn has been at Dixie Road since 2012. She received her medical degree from the University of Toronto and completed her family practice residency at UBC.

Please call our office as early in the day as possible when you are in need of a same-day appointment. You will be given an appointment with your own physician whenever possible, but all of our doctors cover for each other when required for patients' urgent same-day needs.

There is evidence that an annual physical examination is ineffective in finding hidden disease in healthy people. Based on research evidence, the annual physical examination has been replaced by the Periodic Health Examination for patients with no apparent medical problems. This is to ensure that appropriate tests and immunizations are done at the right times which can differ from one individual to another.
