Services
Home Inspections
Our home inspections evaluate structural integrity, mechanical systems, and safety hazards. Using CAHPI standards, we identify issues in foundations, roofs, plumbing, and electrical systems. Clients receive detailed reports with photos and repair recommendations, ensuring informed decisions for buyers and sellers.
Septic Inspections
We inspect septic tanks, drain fields, and system functionality through dye testing and visual checks. Our reports highlight leaks, inefficiencies, and compliance issues. Recommendations include maintenance schedules or upgrades to prevent failures, ensuring environmental safety and regulatory compliance in rural properties.
Mold Testing
Mold inspections involve air sampling and surface testing for spores. We identify moisture sources and containment risks, providing lab analysis results. Reports outline remediation steps for hazardous growth, protecting occupant health and maintaining indoor air quality in residential buildings.
Asbestos Testing
Asbestos evaluations include material sampling and lab analysis for fibers. We assess friable materials in older homes, offering abatement guidance if detected. Our process ensures safe handling and compliance with regulations, minimizing health risks during renovations or property transactions.
Ozone Deodorizing
Ozone treatment eliminates smoke, pet, and mold odors by breaking down odor-causing molecules. We use industrial generators to sanitize air and surfaces without chemicals. This eco-friendly method neutralizes smells in homes, vehicles, and commercial spaces, restoring freshness safely and effectively.

An absolutely honest & professional business. I had the pleasure of calling and speaking with an individual from Elementary last evening about mould concerns. I thought for sure I'd get the voicemail, but lo and behold a real person answered and was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to my questions. I received expert advice and felt like they actually cared, all the while they didn't try to take advantage of the situation. They advised that I didn't need a service that I thought I did and that they did not want to take my money for no reason. In the future Elementary will definitely be my

Eric van Riesen of Elementary Home Inspections is awesome. I have now used his services twice in 2 months; once for a presale home inspection and another, for a mold inspection. He is professional, courteous, and completely knowledgeable. He answered all my multitude of questions and eased my mind. When something was an issue, he explained it clearly and had a simple answer for how to deal with it.
