U-Pass Driving School was founded by Mr. Krisna Guriah in 2010. We have served the communities throughout Surrey, Delta, Cloverdale, Langley and Burnaby areas over a decade now. Your Instructor is the most important part of learning to drive and my aim is to help you pass your driving test and to pass on our knowledge and skills to you.
What We Teach

Steering and lane positioning, rules of the road, signs, lines, right-of-ways, corners, curves, tips for handling larger vehicles - all emphasizing the correct seeing techniques which make learning quick and effective. Moving with other traffic, correct lane choice, right and left turns at traffic lights, use of mirrors, understanding blind spots so you understand what a "shoulder check" really is.
New Drivers

As a new driver the first step is to obtain your learners permit. You can do this by studying the ICBC drivers guide and passing the knowledge test. The ICBC drivers guide is available for free at your nearest ICBC driver services branch. Once you have your learners permit, you're ready for your in car practical training.
Already a Driver

Then your training will vary based on your current circumstance. As each driver has a different experience level, your instructor will be able to assess, typically within the first lesson, what knowledge or skills you may need to develop. After your first lesson, you are welcome to mutually discuss with your instructor the number of lessons you may require.

For beginners: Our lessons follow the rule from simple to complex. Early practice lessons take place in quiet streets. It helps the student to concentrate on having control over the vehicle. We start with explanation what to do and demonstrate how to drive using running commentary. Then the driver copies the maneuver.
