Home Inspection Procedure

The inspection itself can last between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the size and type of house we are looking at. We think it is important for you to be there to go through the inspection with us since a lot of information about the home is a lot easier to understand when seeing and hearing it as opposed to just reading the report after the fact.
Thermal Imaging Services
Report
Thermal Imaging can enhance your Home Inspection or can be used as a stand alone service for inspection needs. These images interpret the Infra Red Spectrum not visible to our eyes. They highlight the differences of surface temperatures. Thermal Imaging cannot see through finishes but does show the effect of what is behind walls, floors or ceilings.
Inspection Fees
Report
A full-home thermal imaging scan can be viewed on-site for an additional $100 plus GST. You may choose to add your scan to the report for $25 per picture. Thermal Imaging service is available at the time of booking or if you decide later during the inspection. As a stand alone service, Thermal Imaging fees vary depending on the extent and nature of the inspection/investigation.
