Services
Diabetic Foot Care
Specialized diabetic foot care prevents and manages diabetes-related complications including neuropathy, poor circulation, and foot ulcers. Our chiropodists provide regular examinations, wound care management, and customized footwear recommendations to maintain foot health. Treatment includes nerve sensitivity testing, circulation evaluation, and patient education on daily foot care routines to prevent serious complications requiring hospitalization.
Custom Orthotics
Custom orthotics are precision-crafted shoe inserts correcting biomechanical imbalances and alleviating foot pain. Using traditional plaster casting techniques, we create personalized arch supports that improve foot alignment, reduce pressure points, and enhance overall mobility. These durable devices effectively treat conditions like plantar fasciitis, bunions, and flat feet while preventing future foot deformities through proper weight distribution.
Ingrown Toenail Treatment
Professional ingrown toenail treatment prevents infection and recurrence through proper trimming techniques and minor surgical procedures. Our chiropodists perform partial nail avulsions using sterile instruments to remove problematic nail edges while preserving healthy tissue. Diabetic patients receive specialized care to avoid complications, including regular nail maintenance and wound monitoring to ensure proper healing and prevent ulcer development.
Plantar Fasciitis Treatment
Comprehensive plantar fasciitis treatment combines stretching programs, night splints, and orthotic therapy to relieve heel pain and inflammation. We develop personalized rehabilitation plans incorporating physical therapy exercises, corticosteroid injections when necessary, and gait analysis to address underlying biomechanical issues causing chronic heel discomfort and morning stiffness associated with this common foot condition.
Bunion Treatment
Bunion treatment options range from conservative management to surgical correction for progressive toe deformities. Our chiropodists create custom orthotics to realign toe joints, recommend appropriate footwear modifications, and perform bunionectomies when non-surgical approaches fail. Treatment focuses on reducing pressure points, preventing permanent toe overlap, and restoring normal foot function through both conservative and surgical interventions.
