Palmieri Bros. was established in 1998 by second-generation pavers Rod and Marc Palmieri at their first location in Coquitlam, BC. Beginning with just Rod and Marc, Palmieri Bros. has grown to a company with a staff of 20, including the first person that they ever hired. Our crews bring decades of diverse experience to every project.
Our company has also established exceptional long-term relationships with a number of repeat clients who have worked with Palmieri Bros. for a number of years - a result of hard work, dedication to quality, and owners who work on site alongside our staff. Decisions can be made quickly, and delays kept to a minimum.

Asphalt Paving
Report
For time-sensitive projects, when downtime must be kept to a minimum or when budget is limited, asphalt paving is often the best choice for the job. Asphalt can be laid down quickly and, once completed, can be driven on much sooner than concrete - often later that same day.
Some downsides to asphalt paving that may affect your choice are that it can soften in hot weather, it doesn't stand up to oil spills as well as concrete does and it won't withstand heavy point loads - such as heavy trucks with dolly pads - over prolonged periods. If any of these considerations factor into your project, concrete paving might be a better option.

Asphalt Patching and Repair
Report
Though asphalt is flexible and durable in nature, when exposed to the elements and prolonged use it can become cracked or potholed, which is why asphalt patching and repair is so important. Depending on the intended use of the paved area, you may be able to save a considerable amount of money by occasionally investing $1,000 into asphalt repair, for example, versus waiting until a much more expensive re-paving is required.
Concrete Paving
Report
Comprised of specific formulations of water, cement and aggregate (sand or gravel), it is incredibly strong, much stronger than asphalt. It is not susceptible to softening in hot conditions and is incredibly durable and able to withstand the harsh weather systems that frequently visit Greater Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
