Since 1977, Immigrant Services Calgary has been providing a wide range of settlement services to immigrants and refugees looking to begin a new chapter of their lives in Canada. We employ a client-focused, integrated approach when working with individuals and their families to help them settle in Calgary.

For over 40 years, we have worked to make a difference in the lives of immigrant and refugee families and individuals. From our humble beginnings as a one-person team to becoming one of the largest settlement organizations in Alberta, we continue to offer a broad range of comprehensive programs and services to facilitate successful settlement and integration of immigrants and refugees in Canada.

Our board of directors, staff and volunteers represent compassion, dedication and diversity in everything they do. More than 130 of our staff members have migrated from countries around the world and have worked together to support immigrants and refugees new to the Calgary community. Immigrant Services Calgary's valued volunteers form an important part of our team.

We receive funding from the federal, provincial and municipal governments, as well as organizations, foundations, sponsors and donors. Without their generous contribution we would not be able to help as many people as we do. We celebrate all of those who support us for their leadership and commitment to making a positive impact on the successful settlement and integration of newcomers.

Immigrants Services Calgary holds itself accountable to funders, donors, and clients, investing resources according to the standards set in place to ensure maximum impact. Our financial statements, prepared in accordance with Canadian accounting standards for not-for-profit organizations, are audited by accounting firm KPMG LLP.
