Northern Focus Counselling and Support Services is a community-based group of professionals providing counselling services, psychological assessment, research and policy development in northern regions. Joseph Graham is a Canadian Certified Counsellor and Registered Art Therapist who has worked in the Yukon since 2001. Joseph helps people and families of all ages to communicate difficult issues and to face their challenges in an inspired and creative way.

These can be necessary to inform treatment recommendations, determine custody and access, develop support plans or return to work plans, or to assess risks.
Critical Incident Response

Northern Focus Counselling understands the impact of trauma caused by accidents, death, illness, injury, suicide and violence on communities. We also recognize that there are different levels and approaches to responding to traumatic incidents. Northern Focus Counselling provides trained Crisis Response facilitators for in community interventions that address critical incidents and implement safety/stabilization plans.
Mediation and Coaching

Many separating couples find that using a mediator to manage the emotional climate during joint meetings helps to create a better working/co-parenting relationship for the future and helps to reduce the overall cost of the separation and divorce.
