Joanne Gobeil is a food artist and her canvas is the fridge and pantry. And like all artists she creates flavour palette the same way a painter creates a colour palette. The mark of a great chef is the ability to taste a recipe or food combination in their head and Joanne can do just that. In 2010 Fried Green Tomatoes was born out of a passion for cooking and as a way to bring her family together with healthy food and hard work.
All three of Joanne's children have worked alongside her in the kitchen learning not only the importance of hard work, but also the importance of healthy eating. Going forward Joanne's focus for Fried Green Tomatoes is to take a more personal approach with her clients and offer in home personal chef services.

Staffed Banquet Functions: Unless otherwise expected and acknowledged, all guaranteed numbers of meals and meal selections must be communicated no later than one working week (7 days) prior to the function. Unless otherwise approved in writing by Fried Green Tomatoes' owner, only food provided by Fried Green Tomatoes will be allowed on the premises for any Fried Green Tomatoes' catered functions.

Prices include the choice of one Entre, one secondary meat, one side vegetable, two salads, one starch, and our Housemade focaccia bread & butter. Price includes serving staff, chafing dishes, serving utensils, clean up and pick-up after meal as well as delivery and set-up, within the city limits. Ask for pricing outside city limits.

Q: Do you use preservatives in your cooking? A: We strive to use no synthetic preservatives in any of our cooking. If you would like to know more about our food preparations please contact us for more information. Q: Is your kitchen nut free? A: No. Some dishes may contain nuts or traces of nuts, so if you have guests with any allergies in your party, please do let us know so we can make you aware which dishes this includes.
