Founded in 1991, Toronto Truck Driving School is a commercial driving academy focused on empowering our students with practical driving skills, and a thorough knowledge of the industry. For over 25 years we've trained and licensed thousands of drivers employed in a variety of careers within the transportation industries and are a Registered Private Career College under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.

As an AZ Driver you will be responsible for picking up various types of drum waste from Depots and Industrial customers. You will be required to load, secure and transport waste throughout Ontario. Operate motorized vehicles to move material between sites up to and including AZ licensed equipment. Must be familiar and demonstrate an ability to pick up and transport industrial and household hazardous waste.

A motor vehicle exceeding 11,000 kilograms gross weight or registered gross weight or any truck or combination provided the towed vehicle is not over 4,600 kilograms. Can drive in class G. Training for Backhoe, Excavator, and Front End Loader covering core operating and trade skills. Forklift licensing available for Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, Order Picker, Walkie, Scissor Lift, Clamp Truck and more.

For any licenses other than Forklift and Heavy Equipment you must hold a full G Ontario license. To obtain your temporary driver's licence you must complete a written test to obtain your Learner's Permit for the license of your choice. The Ministry will charge $23.25 dollars for the written test and $96.75 for your first road test.
Class A
Report
The class A driver's licence allows you to drive a motor vehicle and towed vehicles where the towed vehicles exceed a total gross weight of 4,600 kilograms (10,000 lb); and vehicles included in classes D and G. A class A-licence does not permit you to drive a bus carrying passengers, a motorcycle or a moped.
