My name is Alan Mott and I started Arborscapes Tree Service in 2006. Before that, I served the City of Kamloops as one of their arborists ('00-'06) and currently contract myself out to them when required. Possessing a strong love for tree and landscape design, I have a diploma in horticulture and landscape design and have been working in the tree service industry since 1993.

As our slogan - "Preserving the Urban Forest" - states, planting trees is something that we promote, and we hope to do a lot more of in the future. Due to the loss of the majority of our pine trees in Kamloops to pine beetle, replanting and regaining our urban forest canopy should be of the utmost importance.
Stump Grinding
Report
After the removal of your tree(s), we can provide you with a stump grinding service. Our machine grinds the stump into woodchips to a maximum depth of 8"-10" below the soil surface. Large surface roots can also be reduced. Stump chips are usually left until soil replaces the hole and grass seed is applied.
Storm Damage / Emergency Response
Report
Occasionally in the Kamloops area, we experience severe storm conditions (wind and snow loading). Proper preventative practices such as crown thinning and cleaning as well as cabling and bracing help to preserve trees from storm damage. In the event of large or sudden storms, Arborscapes Tree Service is available to assist in any size of cleanup.
