Flush the system once, and use a plunger to gradually pump the blockage through the system. Avoid flushing the toilet too much while it is blocked, as this will cause an overflow.

Prior to performing any painting, please contact the property manager to discuss this further. We also strongly recommend our tenants obtain coverage for contents. In the event of the unexpected, such as a burst water pipe, a property owner's home insurance policy will not cover the loss and/or damage of a tenant's personal belongings.
