Since 1996, Dr. Pizza has been serving the North Bay area with some of the best specialty pizzas, pastas, panzerotti and chicken wings using the freshest ingredients possible. Owner Mark Trudel has been making pizzas since 1982. Working at various pizzerias throughout the Toronto area, he learned many skills and techniques before deciding to move back to his hometown and establishing his own restaurant.
The name Dr. Pizza is itself a play upon words, as Mark's mother wanted him to become a doctor and Mark's father wanted him to become a pizza maker.
