Trafiq is an artisanal caf & bakery. We serve breakfast & lunch in a spacious shop on Main Street. Everything is made here in our bakery, from buttery croissants to all natural breads using a sourdough starter that originated in Normandy. Our countertops are filled with scrumptious bakery delights.
We have bustling lunches with fantastic hearty food. Take away or stay awhile with us in our comfy caf. Trafiq specializes in delicious layered cakes. We begin with perfectly baked bases, then, delicately layer with light and creamy mousses and swirls of vibrant fruit curds; we finish them in silky chocolate ganaches, elegant glazes and light whip creams.

We merged Sergio's former cake bakery with the West Van caf concept and now run a bustling caf & bakery on Main Street. Sergio fell in love with the science of baking and was formally trained in Houston, Texas by Belgian pastry chef, Eddy Van Damme. To this day, Sergio adheres to establishing well honed techniques in baking and cooking.

While we are not a gluten free bakery, we do have a couple of delicious gluten free treats. For lunch, we can substitute Trafiq breads with a gluten free baguette from the Gluten Free Epicurean. No, we discovered many years ago that our place is best suited to conversation and disconnecting from our devices.
