Summer Programs

This mandatory Competitive Dance Camp is for all existing and new Pure Energy Competitive Dancers, for all levels! This camp is designed to recondition dancers for the upcoming season. You will focus on Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Stretch, Acro, Musical Theatre, Tap and Lyrical. Come join the magical fun as we dance and sing to our favourite Disney music as well as take part in many other wonderful Disney activities.

Jazz is an umbrella term that refers to several related dance styles including roots from tap, ballet, jazz music and African-American rhythms and dance. Jazz dance evolved from a number of influences including Vaudeville and Broadway. Notable choreographers and dancers of jazz dance include Katherine Dunham, Jack Cole, Bob Fosse and Gus Giordano.

You can register in person or online through our website. Space is limited and registration opens to the general public at the beginning of May. We do not hold a spot in class without payment and registration is on a first come first serve basis. There is a Membership fee, you can either pay the lump sum for the session or pay in 10 equal payments Sept.

Pure Energy is always seeking substitute, part time and full time teachers in all levels of ballet, jazz, tap, Acro, Hip Hop, Lyrical & Musical Theatre. Technically qualified candidates with the appropriate teaching experience should also be motivated, offer an inspiring classroom, serve as exceptional role models, mentors and advisors for a diverse student body.
