Optical coherence tomography produces very high-resolution cross-sectional images of the retina, optic nerve, and cornea. OCT works much the same way as ultrasound, except that it uses light instead of sound waves to create the images. It does not require any contact with the tissue being imaged, meaning that nothing touches your eye.

There are two goals of an eye examination: to accurately determine how well you see, and to assess your eye health - which can have immediate and future impacts. Coming in regularly is important on both these levels. In terms of your vision, changes usually occur gradually - to the point where you may not even be aware that there's been a change.
Adult Eye Exams
Report
Eye examinations are as important to your health and wellness as your annual check-up with your family doctor. Coming in every 1-2 years allows us to keep a close eye on your vision (no pun intended), carefully measure your prescription and thoroughly check for potential health problems. We use a wide array of technology to execute a variety of tests - all of which are included in the cost of your examination.
Kids Eye Exams
Report
Eye examinations are just as important for children as they are for adults! In a gentle, fun and patient manner, we will check your child's vision, focusing abilities, and eye health to make sure they can see clearly, that they have no issues that can affect their vision development, and that their vision is not holding them back in school.
Seniors Eye Exams
Report
As you move into your golden years, your chances of developing an eye health problem increase somewhat. Certain eye diseases actually have no symptoms until your vision is permanently damaged, so early detection is important. Because of this, most people over age 65 should have an eye exam every year.
