Services
Electrolysis
Electrolysis permanently removes unwanted hair using FDA-approved methods. A sterile probe delivers electrical energy to destroy hair follicles, addressing issues from hormonal imbalances or heredity. This science-backed solution offers lasting results compared to temporary methods like waxing or shaving. Clients benefit from personalized treatment plans developed through consultation with certified professionals.
Lash Extensions
Professional lash extensions enhance natural lashes for dramatic, long-lasting results. Applied individually by certified technicians, these extensions create fuller, longer lashes without daily mascara use. The process takes 1-2 hours with maintenance appointments every 2-3 weeks. Clients receive aftercare instructions to maximize extension longevity while maintaining eye health.
Microblading
Microblading creates natural-looking semi-permanent eyebrows through manual pigment deposition. This technique fills sparse areas with hair-like strokes that last 12-18 months. A consultation determines ideal shape and color before the two-visit process. Clients receive post-treatment care guidelines to ensure optimal healing and pigment retention.
Facials
Custom facials address specific skin concerns using premium Dermalogica products. Treatments include deep cleansing, exfoliation, and targeted serums to improve texture and tone. Options range from basic maintenance to advanced anti-aging protocols. Each session concludes with personalized home care recommendations to maintain results between visits.
Waxing
Waxing removes hair from the root for smoother results lasting 3-6 weeks. Available for multiple body areas including bikini lines and facial hair. The process slows regrowth over time while reducing ingrown hairs compared to shaving. Post-waxing products help soothe skin and maintain smoothness between appointments.

Questions
What is electrolysis and how does it work?
Electrolysis uses a fine probe to deliver electrical energy that destroys hair follicles. This FDA-approved method permanently removes unwanted hair by targeting growth tissue at the root.
Why choose electrolysis over laser hair removal?
Electrolysis is the only FDA-recognized permanent hair removal method. Unlike lasers that offer temporary reduction, electrolysis works on all hair colors and skin tones with lasting results.
What areas can be treated with electrolysis?
Common treatment areas include face, underarms, bikini lines, legs, and back. Electrolysis safely removes hair from most body areas except inside ears and nose.
How many electrolysis sessions are needed?
Treatment plans vary based on hair growth cycles and individual factors. Most clients see improvement within months through consistent appointments scheduled according to personalized recommendations.
Is electrolysis safe during pregnancy?
While no evidence shows harm, we recommend consulting your physician before starting treatments during pregnancy to ensure personal safety and comfort.

I had electrolysis done a few years ago. And I wasnt very knowledgeable of the process at the time. A lot of what I had done was a learning experience. The technician left my face scabbed and I broke out in small zits in every spot that was treated within hours. I was concerned about this and I was dismissed and told it was normal. Absolutely not normal. In no way should anyones face be left in the condition that my face was in.

I have been going to Classic Esthetics for a few years now. Initially Mary had lots of work to do removing bristly black hair on my chin and upper lip. After about 4 monthly treatments the black bristly hair were permanently gone. I now only go for maintenance once every 2 or 3 months should something appear.
Mary is professional, very efficient, personal and caring person. She is consistently on time; I have not had to ever wait for my scheduled appointments and is very competent in her skills. I would recommend electrolysis by Mary at Classic Esthetics. You will be happy with the service and

Not as professional as expected. She didn't tell me about numbing ointment until 2 treatments in. Consultation was short and not informative at all. Another reviewer mentioned she listens to some radio station which was very annoying and very right wing. Not a relaxing environment to get treatment when you are already in pain and yes, you never get a full hour because the appointments are scheduled back to back.

I have been going to see Mary Gallagher at Classic Esthetics, as required, for 18 years. She is very experienced, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. She is quick and efficient when performing her work. She always puts a very soothing lotion on my face, not Polysporin, when she is done, even putting a liquid makeup on when she knows Im meeting people after. Im always happy with the results. When I retired and no longer worked downtown I tried to find another electrologist closer to my home. I tried 2 different places and was not pleased with the treatments I was getting. The work was

Initially, I had a sense that she was somewhat good. It wasn't until I tried elsewhere that I realized how bad it was. I hate to write this, but at the same time, I want folks out there to be safe and comfortable. Here are my concerns:
She disinfects with hydrogen peroxide, an outdated practice that is no longer supported by research. Her technique is slow, and involves a lot of touching and smearing of the skin, which increases the risk of infection. She switches from using some kind of fragranced gel after treatments, to polysporin. My last treatment, she squeezed out a bead of polysporin from

Consultation is extremely bleak, rushed through her work and hair has grown thicker and coerse as it was not like that before I came! due to the fact she plucks your hair afterwards without waiting for the heat energy to go directly into the follicle as you feel a pull of your hair rather than it sliding off. I would not recommend this place to anyone at all, just horrible!
